One of the coolest projects I’ve had the pleasure of working on, Beyond studios, a creative agency based in “New Yawk,” found they were getting more requests for merch services from their clients and inbound leads. They’d already done a couple of really cool projects, but they weren’t yet totally sure who they were speaking to or how to sell it. The merch space is crowded with competitors, and carving out your own section of the market can be tricky.

I worked with their team to identify their ICP and find their differentiation in a saturated space. After researching nothing short of 20+ merch competitors, both direct and indirect, I developed a custom strategy for them that elevated their offering using their main talent: design.

Beyond puts the art back in merch. They’re not just making t-shirts (or worse, bad pens) for conferences and office parties. Their team handles the merch process end-to-end, and focuses on making brands timeless by capturing moments and putting them in the hands of their audience to savor.

Deliverables for this project included a full website copy audit, building a merch page from scratch using competitive analysis and SEO, two pitch decks for their growing sales team, and other sales enablement resources as their needs grow.
